From April 19 to 21, the Techstars Startup Weekend, AI Edition, was held at Orange Kitchen. The event was an intense 54-hour marathon of innovation where entrepreneurial spirits brought their groundbreaking ideas to life. Alexandru Agatinei, CEO of How to Web, moderated the event, guiding participants through the exhilarating process.
The event was made possible through the collaboration between Startup Moldova and Sigmoid, supported by Orange Systems as the General Partner, with the support of the Future Technology Activities Project, funded by USAID, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, Innovate Moldova, and Western NIS Enterprise Fund.
The weekend concluded with remarkable achievements: more than 50 participants formed nine innovative teams. The results were truly a testament to the creativity and dedication of all involved. The winners were:
- First Place: Argus ai- An AI solution revolutionizing the medical field by empowering doctors to save more lives.
- Second Place: Spark Team – An intelligent application that delivers significant time and cost savings to its users.
- Third Place: hOOffer – A freelancing platform transforming the delivery of repair and cleaning services directly to customers’ doorsteps.
