With cyber threats becoming increasingly prevalent, startups like Pinky CyberSafe® are ensuring that even those without extensive knowledge and resources can defend themselves effectively. Based as a SaaS Platform tailored for SMEs, Pinky CyberSafe® offers crucial tools that provide visibility, detection, control, and support. More than just a tool, it’s also a learning platform where users can gain insights into the world of cybersecurity.
Origins:
In the face of a rapidly digitizing world, cybersecurity stands as a cornerstone of the Pinky Team mission. As various sectors transition into their digital counterparts—be it FinTech, MedTech, or EdTech—there’s an undeniable surge in both convenience and vulnerability. While these technological advancements offer unparalleled ease and accessibility to clients, they inadvertently open the gates to cyber threats. The digital footprint of any entity is not just a pathway to its users but also a potential goldmine for malicious actors. The stark reality is that any online platform isn’t just at risk—it’s almost certain to face a cyber threat eventually. Though many industry giants pour vast resources into sophisticated cybersecurity defenses, the available solutions are often intricate and out of reach for many. Recognizing this gap, they are committed to pioneering an approach that is both effective and accessible, striving to redefine the cybersecurity landscape.
Challenges:
Though the startup operates in a rapidly growing field, creating awareness among their target audience remains a significant hurdle. The focus is on SMEs, which unfortunately form 53% of the total registered attack victims. While they’re still in the development phase without live clients, there’s palpable interest from potential customers.
The Team and Future Plans:
The Pinky CyberSafe® team might be small but boasts members from Croatia, Romania, Belgium, and Moldova. Their shared vision is to significantly change the cybersecurity landscape by availing the right tools to the ones who need them most. Their ambitious roadmap includes attending TechCrunch in San Francisco for more exposure and launching their MVP by November. By end of November, Pinky Team plan to have the MVP and will be ready to start sales. They already have a pre-agreement with a partner here in Moldova to help us in sales, but at the same time they are also looking for next markets.
