From December 10 to 12, future IT specialists, agricultural experts, entrepreneurs, marketing experts and other enthusiasts will gather at the AgTech Hackathon to develop practical solutions and contribute to the implementation of new technologies in agriculture.
What? How? When?
The event will take place over three days, during which participants will acquire relevant knowledge and identify technological solutions to the challenges proposed by the partners, developing products in this regard. Divided into teams through an online platform, participants will define their business development ideas. Ideas must be commercially viable, sectoral, sustainable, integrate IT technologies, encourage collaboration and seek to solve one of the problems facing farmers.

The AgTech Hackathon is part of the “AgTech Innovation Lab” program launched by Technovator, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Sweden in the project ” Tekwill ”, Startup Moldova and the Agrobiznes.md portal. The program supports the acceleration of the digitalisation of agriculture, by combining digital tools in the agricultural sector, in order to increase efficiency and increase the competitiveness of the sector.
