Startup Moldova team, together with Ilinca Crudu, Community Coordinator and Veronica Ţaruş, Investment Officer had an amazing time this year at Techsylvania, one of the most important events for startups and IT industry in Romania.
This year we managed to bring the Moldovan delegation at the event, together with 8 founders and 7 community builders.
Sooo, meet us:
The true power of regional events lies in the networking opportunities they provide. At Techsylvania, we had the chance to connect with colleagues from accelerators, incubators, angel investor groups, and VCs within the Romanian ecosystem. These interactions allowed us to strengthen our partnerships and forge new collaborations.
In addition to the conference, we had the privilege of attending two other networking events.
Our colleagues from RO Startup introduced us to many key developers in the ecosystem. Together with representatives from European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), Startup Moldova, WIT Angels Club, RUF – Romanian United Foundation, Cluj Startups, FreshBlood HealthTech, Spherik Accelerator, Activize.Tech, Fortech Investments, Transylvania Angels Network (T.A.N.), Mozaic, Impact Hub Bucharest, Rubik Hub, North-East Regional Development Agency / Agentia pentru Dezvoltare Regionala Nord-Est, and more.
Also, the delegation attended a networking breakfast with one of the most active angel investors group in the region, Transylvania Angel Network. We had insightful discussions on investment strategies, market trends, and the specific challenges and opportunities within our respective ecosystems.
Techsylvania was an invaluable platform for us to meet like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and explore potential ventures. It reinforced the importance of regional cooperation and highlighted the positive impact such events can have on the development and success of our startup community. We’re excited about the future and the continued collaboration between Moldova and Romania.
This initiative was organized by Startup Moldova in cooperation with strategic partners from Moldova Future Technologies Activity, supported by USAID, Embassy of Sweden and UKaid, and Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund.
