ViarLive – the startup that created a new model of online marketing: interactive and immersive

Virtual Reality (VR) technology has had a significant impact on various industries, including gaming, education, entertainment, and healthcare. VR has been used to create new forms of entertainment, such as virtual reality films and theme park experiences, which provide users with a highly immersive and interactive experience.
Overall, VR has expanded the possibilities for human-computer interaction, allowing users to interact with virtual environments in new and exciting ways, leading to new and innovative applications in different fields.
Such an experience is also offered by ViarLive, the Moldovan startup launched in 2020. The team created a tool through which the user has the chance to explore every corner of a location, having a complete 360° view.
To find out more about this innovative business, we spoke with Nicolai Opopol – CPO at ViarLive.

Startup Moldova: Hello Nicholas! We could say that your business is unique in Moldova. Could you tell us in more detail what this consists of?
Nicholas Opopol: We allow any 360 ̊ enthusiasts and business owners to create and share amazing VR experiences with ease.

Startup Moldova: What makes you special? How would you like to be remembered by your audience?
Nicholas Opopol: We are offering a tool that gives the possibility to real estate owners, showrooms, restaurants, and hotels to showcase their space in 360. Our tool is intuitive and user-friendly, easy to integrate with WIX and WordPress. We tailored our tool to solve the needs of these industries, adding floor plans to the tours, adding flat images, integrating e-commerce to the tour made on WIX, and much more upcoming.

Startup Moldova: Where did the idea for this startup come from, from what necessity?
Nicholas Opopol: It all started from the founders’ personal passion for photography, we figured out that the editors that were at the time on the market were not offering everything we need it at the time for our projects, so we build our own.

Startup Moldova: What were the biggest difficulties you faced at the beginning?
Nicholas Opopol: The biggest challenge is understanding our users’ needs and if we are on the right track.

Startup Moldova: But what is the target customer segment for you? Do you already have real customers?
Nicholas Opopol: At the moment we have clients from all over the world. We have 1030+ users that have purchased our subscription and over 44000 users with the free version of the subscription.

Startup Moldova: Who is also part of your team?
Nicholas Opopol: We are 5, including me as CPO and Genadii Ganebnii as CEO, and a dedicated small team of developers.

Startup Moldova: Please share with us your growth and development plans.
Nicholas Opopol: In 2023 we will launch ViarLive platform with subscriptions available after we will launch also our WordPress plugin, all of this will give us a boost in revenue. Besides that, in February 2023 we are launching our first investment round.
